A healthcare scheduling application that lets patients book with their own providers, receive timely reminders and hold secure video consultations from home — with the tools to manage their health between appointments built into the same place.
- 01
Booking a medical appointment still meant a phone call during office hours, which excludes exactly the people who cannot take one.
- 02
Missed appointments cost clinics and patients both, and the only defence was a reminder call somebody had to make.
- 03
Video consultations were bolted on from a separate tool, so the provider joined a call without the patient record in front of them.
- 04
Between visits patients had nowhere to track symptoms or medication, so the next appointment started with recollection rather than a record.
- 01
Self-service scheduling with the patient's own providers, so booking happens when the patient is free rather than when the desk is staffed.
- 02
Reminders as part of the appointment rather than a separate task, and upcoming visits visible without opening anything.
- 03
Consultation and record in one surface: the provider opens the call with the patient's profile and medical information already there.
- 04
Tools for the gap between visits — a symptom checker, a medication tracker with reminders, and a library of material written to be read by a patient.
Booking and attending from home
A patient schedules with their own provider, is reminded before it, and joins a secure video call at the time — the provider seeing their record throughout.
Staying on a course of medication
The tracker reminds at each dose and records what was taken, so the next consultation starts from a record rather than a guess.
Deciding whether to be seen
The symptom checker and the resource library give the patient enough to judge whether this needs an appointment now.
