The long version.

I came to this from fine arts — a national diploma in Tunis in 2010 — which is a strange place to start a career in software and the reason I have never been able to treat an interface as a container for features. Almost fifteen years later the habit holds: the way a thing looks is an argument about how it should be used, and if the two disagree, the design is wrong.

Most of those years were spent leading. Head of UX four times over — a trading platform under financial-compliance constraints, an AI-assisted CRM taken from discovery research to a shipped design system, healthcare interfaces validated with clinicians rather than assumed. What that teaches you is not taste. It is that a design only counts once someone else can build it, and that most of the work is making it survive the handover.

The specialism now is the layer that makes intelligent systems usable. Not models — the experience around them: the conversational flow, the moment the system says what it is about to do, the human-in-the-loop pattern that lets someone disagree with it. An LLM that is right and unreadable is a worse product than one that is careful and clear about what it does not know.

And I build. Wavvy and Blackmind were conceived, designed and shipped end to end by me alone — a music studio and a course platform, both live, both in this portfolio with their screens. They exist because proposing an AI-native product and shipping one are different skills, and I would rather show the second.
